IDM has provided strategic advice and project management services to the Queensland state government in the critical role of program manager for the $6.4 billion reconstruction of transport network following the 2011 floods.  IDM has also provided program management to Queensland motorways.

The following programs and projects have been completed by the IDM team:

Transport Network Reconstruction Program

Following the devastating natural disaster events in Queensland between 2010 and 2012, IDM provided program management services to the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads on the $6.4 billion road, rail and maritime recovery and reconstruction program.  IDM contributed with strategic advice, funding approvals, contract management, program planning and controls, program audits, integration advice and reporting.

2013 Events

IDM was engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads to manage the pre-construction and design phase of the Fitzroy region's $300m road infrastructure reconstruction program, including engaging resources to provide regional delivery capability throughout the district of Rockhampton, including development of work scopes, tender development with specifications and annexures, issue management and assessment of tenders, negotiation of contracts and final award

Project Management System Implementation

IDM was engaged by Queensland Motorways Limited to deliver a project management system to support continuous business improvement across the organisation, to drive quality and efficiency programs and to provide a formal framework for delivering the major business improvement initiatives utilising best practice project management processes.
