Last night the Australian Institute of Project Management's (AIPM) Queensland Chapter held its 2014 Queensland Project Management Achievement Awards.

The Directors of IDM take great pleasure in announcing that IDM was recognised for outstanding success in program management for the delivery of the Department of Transport and Main Road's (DTMR) $6.9bn Transport Network Reconstruction Program (TNRP).

IDM was announced as the winner for "Construction / Engineering Project in Excess of $100,000,000".

IDM then went on to be awarded "Project of the Year".

IDM was initially engaged by DTMR in 2010 to establish and manage the statewide program management office to deliver TNRP.  As a result of the severe weather events in subsequent years, this program grew to comprise over 1800 separate projects, with a total program value exceeding $6.9bn.

The AIPM established the Project Management Achievement Awards to recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievement in program and project management.  Winning of these prestigious awards is testimony to the expertise and effort provided by the dedicated IDM Team engaged onto TNRP, including the provision of strategic oversight, processes and systems to underpin delivery of the program.

The Directors wish to thank all of the IDM people who have worked tirelessly on TNRP for the ongoing support and dedication to both the program and to IDM.  Congratulations on this exceptional achievement.
